A brand new design for the Platinum Sportsclub Frankfurt – Fitness First
First is not only the first club worldwide to score with new training concepts, but also with a brand new design concept. For the world's largest gym operator, we developed a fresh and inviting design on 4,900sqm that invites sports enthusiasts to train and work out.
The unique "Pilot club" is located in the upper part of the MyZeil shopping center. At the center of the design idea is the guidance system on the floor in the style of a tartan track. This design element guides visitors in a sporty way through the large-scale sports club and leads them to the various areas. At the entrance area, one finds both the bar, where one can fortify oneself with protein shakes and other delicacies after the workout, and a waiting area. The innovative fitness club has a versatile strength and endurance area. In addition, there is a large freestyle area where daily classes are held in small groups to strengthen the body with the help of your own body weight.
By using different floor coverings, the area was not only visually but also haptically separated for the customer. It thus appears as an independent room, although it was placed in the middle of the large area. From almost all training areas, customers can enjoy the view over the rooftops of Frankfurt or alternatively take advantage of the gym's entertainment options.
Apart from that, the fitness club delights with a 20-meter pool, a sauna and a hammam. The successful launch of the first international "pilot club" in Frankfurt was celebrated with a grand opening and presented to the public. The enthusiasm of the visitors confirmed that the concept we developed perfectly fits the demands of the potential clientele.
At the Black Label Club in Munich, we also showed that we have a feeling for how to make a gym both inviting and functional.
